Take it from a Harvard Professor... barefoot or minimal-shoe running is the way to go!

From a recent post by Chiggers on the Dragondoor Forum...

Us kettlebell-lifters love to train barefoot, and for good reason. As humans, we have been lifting things in bare feet for at least a million years... in shoes, not so long : ) Our feet are adapted to bear weight the most efficiently the closer we are to barefoot. For those who need orthotics to correct misalignments, the most minimal and thin-soled shoe that will still support the insert is recommended (think converse Chuck Taylors). Why would running be any different? Humans have also been running barefoot a lot longer than in the thick-heeled running shoes invented in the 1970s!

And now, the science... complete with groovy computer graphics comparing heel-strike vs forefoot-strike:

YouTube text:
Harvard professor Daniel Lieberman has ditched his trainers and started running barefoot. His research shows that barefoot runners, who tend to land on their fore-foot, generate less impact shock than runners in sports shoes who land heel first. This makes barefoot running comfortable and could minimize running-related injuries. Well, If you have ever thought of writing some script to automate those things that you are doing many times on a daily basis, then you have a great and easy way to automate the entir e process. It comes without saying that a few imacros and firefox add-ons will automate all actions related to a browser (Mozilla). If you wish to automate your system as such, then you may need another script, easy commands can automate your system. Even a beginner will automate things using a simple software called as sikuli all you need to do is to inform Sikuli what to do by giving some screenshots and simple commands.
A GUI can be used with Sikuli. Sikuli is an open siurce scripting application that will use a combination of simple commands like click, type, wait and so on. There's no internal API support, it simply searches the screen for the image in the screenshot-which implies that you can use it for anything. There is literally no limit on how you utilize it to automate things.
This is too good to be true, but if you watch the following video, you may come to know that this is very easy. If you visit their home page, you get a lot of tutorials and support; it can be a cake walk even for beginners. You'll check the video as well as get the software at TechnoAges.com

Wow! What an eclectic mix of Flash websites! I have to agree with others about the issue of SEO marketing with Flash, but you have to admit, these are very clever websites! Plus, it's fun to do something different. Flash is different and engaging, and you can't get these types of websites with HTML. Thanks for sharing!
